Ok, we all have stacks of basically useless hides/bones/meat lying around. The stuff you are "saving" to make camps and traps. SOE has just dumped into your lap the easiest way to make credits in a while.

Sell your stuff to the grinders who opened a holo for Xmas.

No stacks over 500, price it at a decent 4-6 cpu, whatever the market seems to be bearing. Throw it on the bazaar. My stuff was selling out before I left town even. This was the OQ 87 stuff even, for 4 cpu. I say the bazaar, as I can't be bothered with the haggling BS, price it and leave, it sells quick.

I cleaned out my craft machine and dumped several tons of hide on the market = credits in my pocket. Same with crap bone and meat, just to grind with. We won't mention the metals I sold.

Save the good stuff for later on. Do not be stupid and let it go now, some of these people may actually like what they are doing or be doing it for real. But dump your garbage stuff for the grinders and make more than a few creds for yourself in the process.

Also, note: Some people don't know how high resources go per unit or also don't know what to look for. i.e. I sold 350 units of wooly hide with 988 OQ but **edit** stats elsewhere for 8k. He offered that much first.

Try letting them bid, you'll be suprised.

The problem I've found with the hologrinding chefs and bio engis and tailors is that they think that collecting meat hide and bone is as easy as placing a harvester and collecting the resource every week.

For example, the last putz I negotiated with wanted to pay 2cpu for grinding meat. 2 CPU!! I laughed at him and said 6 is as low as I would go for him;he said I was nuts, didn't know what I was talking about, and that I obviously never have played any game right. I explained to him that I wasn't some chump future-bh, that I had been a ranger for (in total) several months and sold to many many people. In the end, I got him to see things my way, but my spiteful side got the better of me and just after he agreed to my price I said ''keep your money. i won't do business with someone who insults me like you have''. I suppose if I really needed the money I would have sold to him, but I was just irritated at the nerve this guy had.

Eclipse hide is selling for about 10cpu on the bazaar. Personally I am trying to grind my way out of camping to get it done....but heck if I will pay that much. More fun sending my loverlies onto those evil Kams on Dath. About 600 hide per mission aint to bad. Plus the 20k credits for doing it. I might be a holo grinder. Well actually I am silent and just having fun. But I am doing proffs that I want to do and having fun with it no need I need to suffer cause a bunch of long term Rangers are pissed that people are grinding their proff away so want to charge an arm and a leg for cheap low quality hide. Heck I say good for the Holo grinders stick to it. They have a goal and are working towards it. I mean opening that dang slot is the only "goal" there is to this game. No need to be pissie about it. Well at least you all arent as evil to the grinders and the Image Designers. Now they are just plain rude.

My Ranger group, RoB, specializes in large orders of the HQ stuff for the crafters. But lately we and I personally have been getting a lot of these grinding orders. They flat out tell you, I need grinding stuff, dont care about quality, just need x amount of y. Will pay up to 5cpu for it .

Easy sells.
