Last night I decided to see if there was a slash command for throwing traps. This is because I carry crates of traps in a sub inventory and got tired of calling trap, opening main inventory and dragging it to an open tool-bar slot. I wanted a command that would throw a trap as long as it was in the inventory (like being able to heal someone through the /healWound command as long as the wound healing kit is in the inventory)
I came across the /throwTrap command just hacking different word combos. Apparently, the capital T matters (like the capital S in /ui action toolbarSlot##).
But it also seems that it only will throw the last trap that was thrown. I tried different arguments like "/throwTrap 1". "/throwTrap Glow-Wire Trap", "/throwTrap G" and so on. All of these would actually put a "/throwTrap" call into the Combat Queue window, but only the "/throwTrap" command would actually result in throwing the trap, and only the same trap I threw previously.
Ideally, I'd like to put my crates into a set of toolbar slots so that I could click them to add one trap from them to my inventory, and then use this command on another toolbar slot to quickly throw traps without having the need to drag them to slots.
Does anyone have any experience with the command?

Common question, and the answer is no. It is our State of the Profession post. The only option is this. You still have to keep traps in your hotkeys but you can make a macro that will press a hotkey
/ui action toolbarSlotxx The S must be capitalized.
xx is the slot number. F1 is 00 F12 is 11, and Shift+F1 is 12 and Shift+F12 is 23.
Hope that helps.

Darn,
According to GreenMarine, that was a Beta only command that was removed prior to launch.
Sorry, bro.

Thanks. I was wondering if other's had come across it
Delta, yea, right now it doesn't do anything but toss the same Trap as previously tossed. The command is still there, but only does this one thing.
Ah well. It's funny how much of this game can be macro'd versus which exact commands cannot. Like, you can macro setting up a camp, macro 99% of crafting, stand in one spot in a city like Kor Vella and automatically assign a structure name, pay maintenance and assign all Admins to a harvester. Yet, you can't disband the camp, automatically assign crafting resources nor automatically open and empty the hopper of the harvester. A funny irony
