Good question and I'd be interested in the response! I am new to the ranger profession and the tracking skills are one of the main things which caused me to finally pursue my inkling to become a ranger.

I just recently got a job tracking down some rare creatures for a BE that needed some dna samples. She offered to pay me 10k per creature that I found. So, for example, if I found a pack of four Vexed Voritor Lizards then that is 40k. It worked out pretty well, but for some of the creatures there were times when I hunted for hours and found nothing. So I would suggest also charging an hourly fee...probably something in the range of what you could make running missions during that same time.

Not sure what to charge, BUT, you need to keep a few things in mind. You will almost certainly have to tell people how tracking works (some people think it spawns creatures, others think it gives a WP, can only track animals that have spawned). You will also have to tell people that there is no guarantee of success. You don't have to mention that they are better off just having a few folks running around and they will eventually find what they are looking for, assuming it isn't rare. I do know some of the Rangers here have posted that they have an hourly fee, and also have a fee for if they actually track the beast in question. Maybe some of the other monkey-grubbing Rangers (that sounds naughty) can let you know what they charge.
