I don't think that this is documented somewhere and on top of that i don't think it is that easy to see anyway.

As far as my experience was when goingh through trapping I had a chance to stick a trap on a rancor for example already as scout but the chance was just low

Details ... hard to tell, I have not seen any real documentation about this and so it is at best guesswork.

I do know that at (Ranger) Trapping 3, chucking traps at Canyon Kryats is a good way to piss them off. I was never able to stick one. Some have reported that they used Rancors to level the entire trapping branch. I don't think there's a formula for what you can trap at each level. You get a higher rate of success.

Time for a scientific study! Trapfest 2004!

Maybe we can make a list by planet for what level we need to be to stick a trap 50% of the time. I can give you the first one.

Dragonets - Nothing sticks for crap until trapping 3. Then it sticks most of the time.

Dragonets are level 32? Maybe we can get a general guide by creature level and trrapping skill.

Who wants to drop back to novice scout and start over? Makes sure you write everything down.

Gallow... crate up glow juice traps. Go find a huurton huntress and throw em until you run out. or cap your xp.

If you let me know when you will be doing thing I'll log mythlara at my housing group or play her on dant and hang out to train you so you don't lose time. Really can do all ranger trapping in a few hours this way.

If it's the scout trapping do the same thing for 1,2 and 3 on leviasqualls on rori.

I think the point of this post isn't necessarily to gain trapping XP, but to figure out the general effectiveness of our traps at different levels.

I could be wrong, though.

I do stick at least half the time on rancors as a MR, usually more than half.

At scout trapping 3, I used to get over800 xp from a dragonet. I don't know it the xp rates are still the same though. I think they have been nerfed a bit. Otherwise I'd expect more xp from the gurks I've been wailing on.

If you want your weaker traps to stick when leveling, get another scout to use status lowering traps. I went through scout trap 1 to 4 in a few hoursbecause my master bh friend used stink bomb (untilI could make them myself)on the voritors. I then did rancors from ranger trap 1 to 4 (the next day).
