Thread: Is there a purpose for a crafting station in those big camps?

Sorry if I sound like I've benn playing for 2 weeks (been here since launch) but every time I come across one of those big 'ol camps I always wonder why there is a crafting station in it.

For people other than Rangers within the camps to craft stuff. They are pretty much useless to us, because we craft nothing which would require a station. Funny isn't it? Huge camp ...with stuff in it that we have no use for.

Camo kits can be experimented on in the HTFB. But most crafters will use a private crafting station for their goods as the ones in a camp are public stations (and you can get a private one in a droid...).

They do heal faster than an empty med center. Having no med, I tend to drop one, forage a bit, chat, and watch the suns set.

Unless you go to a player city. Then the med center heals BF as well (but the player city cantinas heal nothing)... But it is much more enjoyable to heal out in the wild than it is sitting in a closed box.
