Well I was knocking out some dishes at home and I got to thinking what my favourite POI was and why. So I thought I'd toss it up here and see what the rest of the fellow Rangers had as theire favourite spot as well.

Pre-POI it was the Great Maze of Lok. But since it wasn't a POI it had no name. So I named it after a friend of mine that liked to explore with me. I ended up naming it Ufye's Maze of Contemplation. I always liked how there was a NPC farmer in the center of it taking care of the place. I'd hang out there with that NPC forever having conversations with him and he never gave me crap about what I had to say. Cool NPC really. Then the POI system came out and within a week there was a large Tat house right next to the maze. The NPC never spawned again. Rent must have gone up from what I figure.

Post-POI I wander alot, as we all do sometimes. About 2 weeks ago I happened across an abandoned hut on Yavin 4. It must have been a wookiee hut being there were 2 Life Day orbs in it. Has a stove outside with some food ready to go in. Some spears and basically all thata Wook Ranger might need. So I decided this was going to be my new home. I moved all my belongings from the bank on Naboo and relocated to Yavin 4. The next day I go on vacation. The day after that I hear about Life Day coming up again and that you get esnt on some quest to Yavin to see some Wook. Someone please tell me that the cool hut I found is not the place you have to go to meet this guy. I don't really feel like having a roommate.

I am quite partial to the Blueleaf and Woolamander Temples on Yavin. I like them becuase they are usually spawned when I go there, it is a nice, mob-filled walk in between them, one can get loot from the woolamanders, and they are great for xp (dare I say it isn't even grinding to go there?).

My favorite place? There is a circle of stones standing on end about 1km from my guild's town on Tatooine. Lovely view of some hills on Tat, just a great spot to pitch a camp and watch time go by.

There are a lot of great places like that. I just enjoy going out to find them

My favorite? The one i find by accident while exploring. Like the crashed shuttle near the Talus Imperial Outpost

Zaw introduced me to a hot tub in the middle of the forest on Endor - I didn't check if this has been made into a POI. I was only there during the day, but I am assured it glows at night. It is really quite lovely.

I actually have quite a few POIs i really like. I'm with Calc on the 2 Yavin ones. Blueleaf because it's got lots of good memories for me there. Myself and a friend in real life used to grind bounty hunter LLC there when we both first started. always had a good time going out to blueleaf to kill off the klikniks. I love woolamander temple because it spawns my absolute favorite animal in the entire game. I love woolamanders, and if i could i'd have a pet woolamander in real life.

on my home planet ofLok, i love the Volcano in the south eastern corner, as well as the one POI of a crashed space ship that some pirates turned into their new base. it's a real neat looking base they have set up there, and it's one of the few grass covered areas on Lok.

on corellia i love the Lord Nyax place because they have this real neat table there with skulls and lightsabers there, so i'm guessing that the Lord Nyax cult are jedi hunters and these are some trophies.

On endor, the Ewok Lake villiage is a great spot to just sit around, relax and chat it up with your hunting buddies. such beautiful scenery there. Endor is probably my absolute favorite planet in the game, and if i could, i'd build some sort of small hut out in the middle of nowhere on endor and have that as my home.

Tatooine, i love the Tusken Bunker and Tusken Village. The bunker is an Imperial Military bunker that has been over-run with tuskens. lots of broken equipment and knocked over decorations in there. the tusken village is a small village in the south west quarter of Tatooine that tuskens have overtaken, and there is a small group of NPCs nearby that ask you to help rid the village of tuskens so they can move back home.

Naboo the Deija Peak falls are one of the most beautiful spots in the game. 2 friends had an in-game wedding there, and myself and another friend went down to the base of the falls and set off a MASSIVE fireworks display afterwards.

Dathomir i love the crashed space ship overrun with purboles. just really neat looking area, also love both of the misty falls, amazing view there.

Dantooine, i love the dantari villages, it's just a shame that on Lowca so many poeple have built up their homes so close to them.

Talus - i love the village that is overrun with Sludge Panthers as well as the Detainment Center (great spot for imperial faction points)

Rori - don't go there enough to have a favorite POI

i think that covers every planet, but maybe i'm missing one.

Not really a POI, but I like the rancher's house on Tat outside Eisley. Our guildhall is on top of that plateau, just to the north.

Lots of spots on Tatooine, since it's my favorite planet. Jawa trader village, tusken captured imp bunker, jabba's palace, fort tusken, any oasis..

The Imp v. gungan location on Naboo, with the swamp troopers and the disabled AT-AT.

The reb v. imp battle on talus.. and too many other little things on talus to list.

I don't really like going to POI's well because everyone knows about them and there is usually people there. I guess if I had to choose 1 it would be the Krayt Graveyard(and the Oasis just N of it) theres a few houses around it now on our server but I used to go fishing there quite often. I also just like wandering the mountains of Talus North of Nashal when I want to be alone.
