For awile, I fell into the "let's get buffed and go hunting" trap. In the time it takes to get buffed and travel and get to a good spot to hunt, only to kill things in seconds, that's not hunting. So I went back to the non-buffed, non armored hunting and it's an adventure! Then I went on a dragon hunt and actually got a group to rally on a HTFB while tracking the great beast down. I think camps would be a little better if they stayed up if anyone was in them, not just the creator, this would allow a ranger to do some scouting while the group heals but we can't have everything.

I just recently got a visit from the old man and i'm a little sad because Rangering has become fun again.
