So I was out hunting rancors solo and having a god awful time of it for the speed that us lonely rangers go at and I had me a think. So I've decided to bring my think to the ranger forums and ask other rangers to have themselves a think on this subject.

What would you guys say to changing one of the ranger trees, say the harvesting tree, to also include a ham modifier for creatures. Could start of with a 1/10th reduction of ham for novice ranger and work up to a 1/2 reduction of ham for a Master Ranger. So if you were facing that pesky rancor with a 17K ham as a Master Ranger he suddenly has 8.5K HAM instead of giving us that acc modifier against creatures.

What do you guys think of this?

It would cause too much troubles when getting grouped with others!?!?

I'd kill the krayt with only 8.5k ham while others still have to fight 17k??? Would Krayt be dead, half-dead, half-living, alive? Or would others suddenly get the reduction in health too?

No, I think the melee/ranged and state defenses against creatures should be increased much more then they are now. That way, a ranger can stand longer vs a creature. And while at it, add more to doing damage to creatures.
