SL is now much better but it would be even better if you where able for gcw the SL could make the group target and attack one target i know you can already do that by /tar name but it would be easier if you didnt have to rely on everyone

Was suggested before and rejected. The SL can mark a target and it makes sense that the team attacks that target as the target takes more damage. Each player still has to switch target by himself, some remote-control by another player is not intended and probably will never come.

Experienced teams work with a "targeter" team member, anyways. This usually is an experienced player, preferably ranged and preferably without healing abilities. (If he has healing abilities, he's only allowed to use them on himself with /heal self commands.)

Everybody else in group has to target that person and fire "at" him, this way everybody in team actually attacks the same enemy the "targeter" is attacking. (Of course, people with medical abilities in team are allowed to switch to other teammembers to heal them.)

Does this mean we are closer to getting a revamp?

Nope, sorry. All it means is that SOEand / or the Dev team is finally looking at a long ignored profession thatdesperatelyneeded the attention

I remember when a dev posted about the new elite marks for Bounty Hunters. The only reason it happened was because one day he was playing a character, noticed it wasn't very fun and then spent the next couple of weeks (time period is pure speculation) developing the new system. I think a similar thing happened with the CH and SL upgrades which also seemed to appear from nowhere.

The good thing about this is that the devs are playing the game and finding the faults from their own experiences. They then use their own initiative to bring about upgrades for the profession which I can imagine will receive a lot more attention due to the personal aspects.

The bad thing is that the devs are not listening to the community and the changes are based around one person's opinion (which of course many will disagree with). The process is also unfair to other professions in need of revamps and any "lists" or plans just seem to be thrown out the window.

This is why it's so difficult to determine when we will be getting a revamp these days. The lack of dev communication with the community means they just appear with no warning. However, on the positive side we do seem to be in a profession revamp "season" and it's no longer the old "Wait till after we've done *blah*" responses we've been getting from the devs for the past 2 years.

Oh, and in other news...Holocron just posted!

Maybe it's time to show him that thread
