Why is it thata friend of mine who is not a ranger can run faster than I can. I have Ranger 4-1-4-4. He doesn't have any terrain negotiation attachments... We are both trandoshans. Am I missing something here?

After master scout the terrain negotiation goes into crawl speed. If he was a master scout then you both should be going up hills, moving, etc., at the same speed.

Sometimes when dismounting you get stuck in a slower speed.
Unequip then re-equip your weapon. That should fix it.

Probably a bug. TN has no effect on run speed. Up to +50, it makes it so that you don't slow down as much on hills. Above +50 it only affects your crawl speed.

Are you wearing armor? That will slow you down.
Maybe it's your toenails, try trimming them. They could be catching in roots and stuff, slowing you down too.

Ranger, 4-0-0-0
Combat Medic, 0-0-0-4
Squad Leader, 3-0-0-0
This template give one +135 Terrain Negotiation, and up to +185 Terrain Negotiation when the leader of a group. Now, I was curious if going well above +100 Terrain Negotiation actaully keeps increasing your crawl speed faster and faster, or if there is a hard cap onhow fast you canactually crawl.
.... Sorry to go off topic but I believe the initial Question has been answered....

With +155 TN (Master Ranger + Master Squad Leader leading the group), I notice no difference to the +95 of Master Ranger. I haven't fully tested it but it doesn't seem to bring out anything extra special.

Yes, you actually begin to crawl at perma-burst speed. It's a very efficient way to travel without a speeder. Speed-crawling from one end of Tatooine to the other is a thrill.
