Thread: As Rangers, shouldn't we get a damage bonus vs creatures?
Been discussed, to the point a lot of us feel a "Critical Hit" - a one shot kill - is in order for Master Rangers.
My version worked like this - You see creature. It has no resists to XYZ damage. A Master Ranger, armed or unarmed, with the correct weapon would have a percentage chance to drop said creature in it's tracks, one shot. The percentage would depend upon the Ranger's skill levels in that combat profession and other variables, never really rising above 5% on any one creature, and never starting on some creatures as they have resists to all damages.
Yeah, it would be rare, but fun to have in the inventory. As to the damage bonus, makes sense to me. Kill enough paralopes and you know where to shoot em to take em down quicker.

Well with RIFLE RANGER I know I wish I could use my snipe shot on PvE. One shot one kill!
