Can traps be mass produced? Which crafting station do I need to stand next to create a schematic?

To make traps (or camps) in a factory, you need the following:
- An Equipment Factory
- A Weapon/Droid/General Item Crafting Tool (NOT the Generic Crafting Tool you get with novice scout)
- A Weapon/Droid/General Item Crafting Station (Either purchase a private one, or a droid with a module, or use the one in the high tech field base, or else use a public one in a static city)
- Enough of the exact same resources to make x+1 items(where x is the number of items you actually want from the factory)
Then, follow these steps
- Stand next to a Weapon/Droid/General Item Crafting Station.
- Craft as usual using the Weapon/Droid/General Item Crafting Tool. Use the exact same resources that you will use in the factory as ingrediants.
- After the assembly stage, a popup will appear asking if you want to make a prototype item or a schematic.
- Choose to make a schematic.
- Move to a flat area in a build zone of a planet and place the Equipment Factory.
- Use the radial menu to place money in the factory.
- Use the radial menu to add power to the factory (wind power, solar power, or radioactive power).
- Use the radial menu to access the schematic slot, andchoose to usethe schematic you made for your camp/trap.
- Use the radial menu to access the input hopper, and put the exact same resources you used as ingredients of the schematic into the input hopper of the factory.
- Use the radial menu to activate the factory.
- When the factory runs out of resources you get an email telling you the factory has stopped, which also tells you how many items were produced.
I hope this helps.
[Edit]: I forgot some stuff, I updated it, new stuff in yellow. Thanks Cohen and Nemo!

You forgot to add POWER to the factory, they dont work without power.
Ive not built full runs yet of traps but I have built 1000 production runs of doc stuff and they tend to take 32 hours or more for a full 1000 units.

Or just use a High Tech Field Base Kit's crafting station.

I sell factory runs of traps/camps. Most are done in a few hours, due to the very low complexity. ( Wire mesh are like 16 seconds in a factory, basic camps are 32). Not even the most complex made me wait more than 24 hours.

You would hate meds then. Im currently makeing a large batch of stim b's and its 32 hours for each componet and about 37 hours for the stim b. (1000 units of each componet and 999 stims due to scrapping one makeing schematic)

*smiles* I am also a tailor and an armorsmith. PSGs take 8 minutes EACH in a factory. It takes several days to do the final factory run, not counting all 6 subcombines as well......
