Good morning all...

Sorry for jumping into your boards. I hold my hands up, I'm not a Ranger, but I'm a Bio-engineer instead. I've been reading through your forums and wondering... The Rescue skill. Is it used any, if at all by people? Specifically Chimaera Rangers?

I ask, because in my travels I picked up a good few Rescue Skill Tapes and Armor Attachements, including a +7. But before you scream at me... this isnt a price check, or a gloat or anything similar.

I'm just wondering... are there any Rangers on Chimaera who can use them? If so, they're all yours. Gratis. I hate the current server economy, and I hate people who sell things useful to a proffession they know nothing about for millions (with BE skill tapes coming, I'm going to be screaming about this...). So if you can make use of them, drop me a mail in game. The names Chaalan. First one who wants em, can have them all.

Good luck and good hunting to you all.

Ahhh, that's a nice thing to do

I'm a Chimaera Ranger but I never use /rescue... I'm sure there's someone out there who would love them though.

The Problem with /rescue...

That's clearly a skill aimed at rangers with some tanking abilities, meleers. Problem here is that I have more reliable success to /taunt (a novice brawler skill) each and every single mob that attacks the person I plan to help than I have with /rescue :/.

I am a pistoleer and I use rescue ( Chimaera) . It helps to be wearing really great armor. However, I already have a +8 rescue dropped into my shirt. If I'm in a group, I'm always having to use it, since it's always someone unarmored who's trying to tank squills/rancors....

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

I might have thought about using /rescue once. The only time it really came was telling my party I could use it if they were getting slaughtered in the corvette... which didn't help. I think it would only come in handy if you were helping a noob get combat xp.
