Thread: Master Ranger, the only true choice for me.

Hello. I have been playing for about 3 months, and for the longest time I dabbled, tried different combat professions, tried crafting, etc. After many months of experimenting, I come back to my humble beginnings. When I started, on the planet corellia, there was a great wooly spawn happening at the moment, and without even knowing it, I had harvested 20k of the stuff, not even knowing its value (got to love low-level xp with durmis!). Well, imagine my newbish surprise when I could sell that stuff for 50cpu. It was a love affair from the start.
So, I am a Master Ranger now, and I love every living moment of it. I love the nobility of this profession above and beyond all else. I feel that we are an valuable part of the world we live in, and although we fly under the radar more often than not, we do so valiantly. I am proud to be amidst the wilds, hunting my way up the aloof mountains of Dathomir, or stalking the desert plains of Tatooine, or crawling in the windspread wheat fields of Corellia. No city, no village, no town will ever call me a citizen, for the wilderness is my home.
This post is an homage to the this profession, the one I love and am dedicated too with all my heart and soul. And too all my fellow rangers out there, may your hunt be good, exiting, and prosperous.

one of my favorite pasttimes these days is to lurk in the swamps of rori, plucking off tortons and vrobal. by the way, camo kit + lying in a stream or puddle is awesome cover for hunting!

You just made me remember my first falling in love with scout/endor. mask scent was still broken, and the only way to get away from the nasties (seems to have calmed down unfortunatly) was to have an efficiant burst run, as well as the increadable terrain negotiation. to run for a pack of not-so-nasties, and hope that they start fighting with each other.
