Thread: Conceal and the new TEF system

Found out something interesting with conceal last night. I was an imperial on leave and the other guildie in my group was listed as a combantant. I could not use /conceal on him because of this.
Is this as designed?
Will the same thing happen with rescue?
Do we need to get this fixed?

Similar thing happened to me last night. I didn't even think to ask if they were onleave or combatant.

If you are on leave you can't do any 'helpful actions' to combatants, aaui.
I had taken this to be only healing and buffs, but looks as if somebody was on the ball for once.

Oh and don't bother with conceal near any of the meaner STs they check and break your /conceal Imp or not. And you've got about the same odds of geting past a nova trooper with out breaking as you do a GDK.

Yeah it is like the doctors limitations, but conceal does work well against the NPC's out there. Was able to take them out without bringing the whole group on me at one time.

It was my understanding that you cant do anything like heal or camo opposite factions, whether it be Reb to Imp or Neut to Reb or Neut to Imp. By going on leave you basically make yourself neut and cant enter any faction bases or anything so thats why you cant camo anyone who is a combatant or on special forces. However, if you are on leave and your buddy is a combantant you should be able to heal him and then after like 30 seconds become a combantant again and be able to help him...its not really a tef tho and you need to go back to a recruiter to go back on leave. I've just been requesting that everyone I hunt with go on leave, that way nobody has to worry about troop drops(like the one we had when we were out krayt hunting the other night thatattacked 2 of my guildies and left me and 1 other guildie on 2 giants) and if everyone is on leave you can hunt with opposite factions and heal them and stuff too. You can't hit random troops if you see em anymore but you can always plan faction hunts and have everyone go combatant. After the little krayt/imp drop incident im more then convinced you want to be on leave on hunts anyway even if you are all the same factionjust so you dont run into unexpected problems when you already have bitten off more then you can chew.
