Since the inventory increase this may not be as necessary!
Bigger backpacks only wearable at a certain Ranger level!
Holds 100+ items, as most of live in the wilderness and dont have the plesure of visiting our homes on a regular basis.
Any ideas?

Never will happen. Waste of time, and nothign makes Rangers special from anyone else. Just visit your house more often.

Although we do have a backpack for us. Get your hands on the backpack from the rebel themepark. Its bonuses are melee/ranged def + camo

Hm- while I like the idea, I would rather hold out for something more useful, since I have a feeling that Rangers may be getting near the top of the priority list. Then again, they might be done with us now that they added the harvesting bonuses, and if so, we all must go up in arms, have them revert the bonus, and give us something better
Anyways, yeah, I think that we need something that really sets us apart, and hopefully some better traps. I dunno- I am sure the correspondant is working on it.

I don't really see what justifies this being tied specifically to rangers. And... I'd rather not be involved in the flame wars if they tried to implement this.
The new inventory is great... and the single most important change I would now like to see for inv. is stackable creature loot. If you have 11 rancor biles with the exact same serial number, why the heck can't you have a single stack of 11 rancor bile? I feel bad destroying voritor scales and racor bile, etc... but I'm not going to shlep all the way back to my house from the middle of nowhere while I'm out for a long day of hunting.
I might be appeased if someone (likely a dev) could simply provide an explanation as to WHY they can't do this... but as of right now, I see no reason why this can't happen.

The backpacks arent limited to rangers. There for everyones use. This is different then what hes asking for. Look for lightweight military backpacks and the rebel version whos name escapes me.

I use the Special Ops backpack: the field agent edition. It is a looted schemantic that most tailors should have. Costs around 200k. Give +5 in camo, +5 foraging, +3 in Melee Defense and +3 Ranged. Probably about as close as we are going to get in terms of a ranger backpack. Though it would not be hard at all for the devs to add another looted schemantic for a ranger backpack.

So maybe not an inventory increase, but just a larger backpack!
I camp, hunt and climb in RL, and my pack is pretty big, lots of gear, as you need to be self sufficent.
Let everyone use them but call it "Ranger Backpack"

You can usually find the spec-ops backpack for sale on vendors in malls etc, its a nice pack for a ranger, I also suggest keeping a mouse droid in your datapad with a storage compartment (10 items) This is where you can keep your crates of vegash, tents, traps etc so you always have your hunting gear ready.

Yeah get a bunch of storage mice with 10 storage. With the current increase in storage dont expect another one anytime soon. Its just a matter of storage managment at this point. And dont forget your 100 storage at your planets bank

Funny, I just completed the rebel theme park, yet I never recieved this aforementioned backpack that gives bouneses. Did I miss something? Also, the scout helmet that used to be given out as a reward, never recieved that either...not cool.

Hi - you get a schematic for the back pack - you then have to find someone who can make it for you. The backpack also requires some lootable components (heavy duty leather if I remember correctly), but you can generally purchase these on the bazaar (at least you can on my server).
Yes - they did away with the cool rebel helmet that you could get from either the rebel theme park or the old version of the Mat Rags (sp?) quest on Tat. Hopefully it will be back in soon though....
I myself use the cool bandoleer I got for completing one of the early level pilot missions -- it doesn't have any uber mods, but it looks a lot better with my desert command jacket, and the difference between me and the rest of you is that I make this look good (haha - joke :>).

True, I have no recollection that the rebel teme park included the spec-ops backpack and I never got a scout helmet.... what is this helmet anyways, I am very curious
