At this point we should point out to those not aware, that Lok does not have any insects. Try the ship-wreck (can't remember proper name) POI, the NPC's there seem to drop insect meat as loot.

lol yep - I 'harvested' some insect meat from a blood razor a few nights ago! When I shot him he said 'ouch! there goes me ant farm' -- haha not really, but I did loot some insect meat like calc says. It's going into my rare harvests collection.

I would recommend swgcreatures.com. They have agreat advanced search where you can specify the type of meat you want as well as what planet or planets your want to search. It is invaluable to me as I am learning each of the various planets.

for all your creature needs just click on the advanced search tab.
And i agree, what is up with the sarcasm? been reading the bloodfin flamefest? I would use forum, but I feel nothing constructive is done there, as is commonly done in a forum.

Really there is a ton of good information on the Ranger forums. You are dealing with the fact that a lot of us have been in our favorite broken profession since the beginning of game. It tends to make you a little sarcastic when you refuse to give up on something even knowing its not to get love until the jedi are finished and everyone can be one as a novice profession.
You just need to learn how to filter through the ranger forums and i promise you there is good work on this forums. We are not like the bloodfin forums. Man we are SO not l ike that heck hole. Im from BF and i avoid reading that unless im making sure my guild hasnt been named to flame.

Does anyone know what drops insect meat on lok?
I've never noticed any kind of insects out there but I keep seeing reports of Lokian Insect meat at swgcraft and recently the stats on it were really awsome on Ketteemoor. Thanks alot

I apologize if I came off as being sarcastic - it was a joke at the game's expense, not the poster's -- I thought it was really funny that the bloodrazor I blasted happened to be carrying around 36 units of insect meat!
At any rate, I definitely agree with Fodder about the BF forum -- the BF forumis the SWG equivalent to the wall of a men's restroom in a public park -- only sometimes you read something edifying in the actual park restroom. It's really sad because the forumdoesn't represent the majority of the BF player base at all.

That is so true Iseult. There are some really good people on the server. Just don't read the forums before playing there.
Ended up on Bloodfin because it was the recommended server when I created my character. heh

Hi Lodo! long time no see! Yep - I joined bloodfin because it was the recommended server as well. If I'd known it was the self proclaimed 'unofficial pvp server,' I would have chosen another one. Oh well....
