Does anyone have a good way to do this? I cant think of any. When i conceal and rifle them, they aggro me, when i send a probot, they kill him...I am fresh out of ideas. Thanks to those who help me

Pop one round into the lair and then peace. Do this while maskscented. Or concealed. Dunno about covered tho.
At least this works for me as a Pistol type. Do this on mission lairs and you can accurately predict how many creatures will come out.

Yup tap the lair. Look in the FAQs there is a good doc on it. If you can't do that your going to be a crapy ranger any way. Might just as well practice it while milking.
/takecover just reduces ranged damage. There are shots only usefull against ranged NPCs that you have to be under cover for. Thats what causes the confusion there. Its ducking behind something so you get hit less, not hiding.
There are some fools that swear you do better with conceal shot under cover. They have never tested it. I did, not one lick better than just going prone. If the thing you are shooing will shoot back at you... that's a whole other ball game.
