I'm considering going Master Ranger with my new slot, and I'm just curious how much of a diff. +50 Creature Harvesting makes. I know it's all relative, but someone can explain this in an intelligent way I'm sure.

Hmm... well...

Its a huge increase to be honest. About 30% maybe even more without veghash. I was pulling hide in the 150-170 range off of Mawgax's on Yavin without veghash in a medium health area. That should help illustrate it. Now that was with the 20% grouped with a scout bonus. But im sure theres some nice pretty math formula to show it.

I knew exactly how much a particular animal at a particular place was harvesting and after the change the difference was 25%

Go be ina group on top of that. You get an extra 40% or so... I got 2100 Hide off a single GDK with veghash (no droid) Saturday..

Two Master Rangers grouped are a harvesting machine. They give the bonus to one another, on top of the extra 50%.

Kari and I were harvesting massive amounts of hide last week on Dant, with veghash it was even more.

Today I got an email thru Kari stating what a AS would pay for Corellian scaley - the AS was nice enough to include the list of creatures who dropped scaley, with amounts (?). Solo I am beating those amounts by 100% + without veghash, off of medium creatures.

The extra amounts are well worth going Master.

After I made my post I realised that hard numbers are of no use unless you know how much that was harvested before the update, its not good if can harvest 2K now, if you could harvest 1.9K before. Dont know what the stats were before though, havent hunted in a long time.

I got nearly 2k from an engraged kimo the other day without hash. 150 creature mod, grouped bonus, grouped with a master ranger bonus. It was bonus heaven.
