I sincerely hope that whatever they do, that this does NOT lead to another respec opportunity - since I don't know if there is any way to limit it to ONLY folks who have Ranger or not. And do you limit to a specific amount of Ranger? What about someone who gets enough to get novice ranger to qual for the respec, then grinds out something fast and easy like ID or a crafter profession and respecs those skills over to Ranger (not unlike the jedi power levelling that happened with the double XP + repeated respecs).

Ideally, the devs would do this in a way that doesn't REQUIRE them to give a respec. However, with things looking like they are going to tie us toa ranged profession, and potentially a SPECIFIC ranged weapon... I don't see any way for them to NOT give a respec.

More than likely they will just give you whatever skills you need to keep Ranger (so if it doesn't change, if you don't already have Carbines IV they'll give it to you). If you are overloaded on skillpoints, you'll be stuck in that spot until you drop enough skills of your choice to have 250 or less.

Same thing happened when tkm got the requirment of 2h swords iv, which was part of the cu i think. Anyway i did get the skills but has been stated above, I was stuck in time untill I dorped enough to be within the limits, without useing a respect.
