Thread: what do u think will be classesified as urban
"Urban environments are defined as areas where there is a certain level of structural density and anywhere that is specifically designed as a city region. Wilderness environments are every else."
So harvester fields and the thick build up zones around major NPC cities, the northern half of Naboo on some servers.
If we are lucky we will be able to use traps in places caves around the world, but I would not bet on it. And I do not think places like the DWB, the corvette or other similar places will be trappable either.

Currently the municipal zones are player and NPC cities. These are the places we can't usually drop camp without having to clear out a few dozen more meters. In the case of the harvestor fields and "sub-urbs" I'm assuming their adding some sort of extra code to mark these as urban - I'm pretty sure you can place camps in these areas as the rules currently playout.
I'm kind of surprised though that they wouldn't just apply the changes to an existing mechanic.

I'd be curious to know whether the H.E.P type camo would work in places like these, but I'm sure your right and the traps probably won't.

that kinda eliminates alot of there use IMHO , bases and other GCW tend to be near PC's on my server.
would be like telling other professions they can't use there weapons in towns.
/agree

agreed this cuts out A LOT of uses for them in my mind. severly hindering there value. if they are gonna do this maybe they should limit other professions weapons to not be useable in urban enviroments.
