I'd be careful... those Red Names are more wired than the FBI. You may not see them... but they know how many cell phone calls you got today!
Seriously though, many Devs (and many RedNames) have a tendancy to lurk ... especially Tiggs - she's a sneaky one.
Healthy, productive debate about Ranger pre-reqs are very important for two reasons. First, they prove that we're dedicated to finding a viable alternative to whatever is being proposed. Second, they give the Correspondant posts that can be easily referenced when dealing directly with devs or when trying to press a point in the Corr forums.
Don't worry... as futile as it ever seems discussing this is better than not.
I agree with the original poster. I'd love to see Ranger more melee viable - but I also want it to be more ranged viable. What I don't want to see is it being purely restricted to one or the other.
I do want to see combat mods throughout Ranger (at least to a degree), and I feel that they could just as easialy give either general accuracy / general speed mods (does this happen anywhere else?), or they could give us a different, similar, ability set. Keep in mind there is probably some development still going into the Ranger class as I type.
