Thread: One Of My Early Adventures
I posted this a while back over in the Jedi forum, but since I guess it fits with the whole Ranger "going out on an adventure" theme, and it's a funny story,I thought it'd be appropriate to repost it here.
This happened back when I was just a Novice Scout. ![]()

I was in Mos Eisley, Tattooine, looking for a little adventure, when I came across a guy putting together a hunting party to go kill Krayt Dragons. I figured what the hell, sounds like fun, so I joined. Our group took a shuttle to Mos Entha, and headed out into the desert.
Several of our group kept shooting the wildlife along the way, so we lost several of our number (originally 30) to wildlife and bandits. Our group leader got killed, and while he was on his way out, someone took about 10 people and ran off in the opposite direction that we had been heading. By the time our leader returned, our group size was down to about 12. We decided, in the spirit of adventure, to push on anyway.
So we 12 are heading through the desert towards the Krayt Dragon Graveyards, when I see an npc dressed in black up ahead. I think nothing of it, since there are many random npc's out in the middle of the desert. As he is bout 30 meters away, I casually, carelessly press Tab to identify him, and see the words Iebagee Dreac (a Dark Jedi Knight) My blood runs cold.
An instant later I hear the trademark BZZZZZZZSSSSHHHWWWWW of a lightsaber blade being ignited. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, as I watched this Jedi fly towards our group leader, striking him down dead, in one blow. Without even pausing, the Jedi shifts his direction slightly, heading straight for the rest of the group. Our group leader's body lay about 20 meters from us, and he closed the distance in what seemed like an instant. He had killed 4 more of us, by the time we even had time to react. the remaining few of us scattered like flies, in all different directions.
By the time we regrouped nearby, there were but 5 of us left who had not scattered or died. The five of us knew we had no chance, but we figured since the whole trip was a disaster anyway, and it was the quickest way back to town, we might as well go out in a blaze of glory. He killed the first two who charged him, without even drawing his saber. He then drew it, stared coldly at me, and charged, striking me down with one blow to the torso, doing 5585 damage.
Here are some screenshots of his first attack, be warned there is profanity in some of them.
