Thread: Discouraging Animal Resouces
I need some encouraging news please. For the last several days, before, during, and after the shift I have been desperately trying to find even decent quality Herbivore meat and Wooly hides. I have hunted Corellia, Tat, Naboo, Endor and Talus. The stats are way past horrible. Last night I killed a Peko Peko on Naboo and every single stat was at or below 100.
I'm not asking for locations or even the planet, but would someone at least tell me if decent permutations of these 2 resources exist in the galaxy currently....anywhere. Ineed a glimmer of hope that if i just keep at it, I will find something that will not make a med crafter puke in his hat.
I got good Herb meat from Violent Krahbu on Corellia...been farming them the last few days...I think it was somewhere in the middle for quality. It sells off the bazaar fast enough...so i think it is what many want.
What server are you on?
It has been my impression that the quality of our harvested resources shift along with steel/iron/etc.
I'm on Intrepid, but I've found fairly high quality hides on Yavin recently, and the meats on Talus are mid-quality. That being said, Intrepid is in the midst of a resource shift... heh.
I could be wrong, but I think that resource shifts (and resource quality) vary from server to server.
I would post this question in the server-specific forum for that reason.
I passed up the meat for the hide, Bristly on Corellia is quite good. The meat was so-so. Usable I suppose if you don't need the "best" but it had middle numbers so above practice quality.

Tarquinas seems to be hurting for decent herbivore meat as well. My husband and I have checked Corellia, Naboo, Talus, Tatooine, and Dantooine to no avail.
One question - is there only one kind of herbivore meat on any planet at any given time or are you able to find different types of herbivore meat on the same planet from different kills? We only tried killing one type of mob per planet to check the herbivore meat stats and figured any other mob with herbivore meat would be the same type with the same stats.
