Hello,

I just got trained in Frontiering 2 and went to try to build a Field Base Camp. I can't seem to find Polymer anywhere for sale on the Bazaar? Where do you get it? Is it something we can harvest, or is it manufactured?

Thanks,

Tap

I use Inert Petrochemicals, but be careful, there are 2 IP's. one is the Polymer, the other is an Oil. I bought 4 k of the oil to learn this....) You usually find some at the bazaar under Ressource Container - Chemicals. If you have surveying it can be sampled.

I use my chemical harvester to get mine, but the resources just shifted and it seems my supply, and the supply in the surrounding 10 square Ks has dried up. I have a stockpile, but until we get another resource shift, this is gonna be a tightly controlled commodity.

My advise is - if you can, get some artisan training, or hire one to do the survey, get you a money hog - I mean harvester, and start mining your own. It's not like you do any of the work, just pay through the nose to mine the stuff.

Good luck

I am down to 37k of camping left, of course I can just do 17 and wait for the patch since camping 4 is dropping from 80k to 60k .... People who are crying about the Scouting XP being raised have no idea how lucky they are, scouting is fun to get, Wilderness XP is being lowered about 50k for someone starting after the patch. This was the evil one !

I would definately recommend finding an artisan who's got a chemical extractor or two, and then become very close friends. Often, if you find someone who's grinding towards armor or weaponsmith, you can trade hide/bone for polymer. Good luck!
