Can someone please explain to me exactly what the mysterious Foraging bug is? I'm about halfway up the ranger tree and I've never seen it. I understand it tells you that you have not enough room in your inventory to take the forage, even if you do, and something about only when you get 3 items. I've only ever gotten one item at a time, are some people getting more?

Then I heard maybe it was only if you had 3 foraged items in your inventory, but I've had 20+ in mine for weeks, and never had this problem, I use a few up, and forage a few back, no issues.

I'm really and truly not trying to rub in that I'm not having a problem, just trying to figure out what the problem is, so I can avoid it. And also to see if I'm supposed to be getting more than one item per forage.

Technically, we should be able to forage for multiple items - up to three by the time you hit Master Scout. Your description of the bug is dead on. As far as I am aware, it has not been resolved, so if you're not getting it, you're just plain lucky.

There is a bug with it giving you an "inventory full" message. I have gotten this many times. Not sure exactly what causes it, but I believe I've heard some other professions talking about getting "inventory full" notices when they aren't supposed to, so maybe this is not a forage-specific bug.

As far as getting multiple items per forage, this should happen, but very infrequently. I have gotten multiple items a few times. In order to spot this, you will have to keep your inventory window open and watch while you forage. When you get the success message, it will occasionally deposit two or three things in your inventory, not one. It does not give youmultiple successmessages, or a different success message, based on the fact that you found something extra.

I get the inventory bug once in a while too.It seems to happen when I try to forage a few times in a row, even if I have plenty of room in my inventory. The way I resolve it is to just shuffle a thing or twoaround (from my backback to main inventoryor vice versa) then I can forage again without a problem.

I've read on the boards that the "not enough room" message is given when you forage a rare item, which were removed from foraging.

So how infrequently should I be getting more than one item? I always have my inventory open when I forage, so i can destroy any bait that I get. I'm about halfway up the ranger tree, probably foraged 250-300 times since I reached master scout, and I've never received more than one item. I've been specifically watching for it, since I heard that it was possible to get multiples. Unless you count getting a stack of bait with 3 uses or whatever.

I don't even enjoy fishing in real life, let alone in agame. I find fishing about as much fun as hand sampling. It was fun for about the first 15 seconds, then I got bored. And if I did want to fish, I would just get some bait right then, not carry it around with me for days or weeks first. I have no inventory room as it is.

I remember reading the same thing Pwa. Rare loot was believed to be the cause of the problem, i just figured that theynever removed the rare loot since the problem still exist. I have only foraged 3 items in one shot once shortly after I made master scout. I haven't seen it happen since. I had aproblem the other night with foraged food and my inventory. I redeed my house (the short lived bait, tackle and foraged food shop) and I couldn't find my deed. I changed from a icon display to list display in order to find it. When I switched back to icon display, half my foraged food disappeared from my inventory. The food did reappear a day later during the following night of gaming. Not sure if this is related tothe forage bug, but I did report it.

BTW my inventory was at 48 of 60 at the time this happened.
