I am on Talus at -4503, -1414 and according to my map, there are structures... but I look around me and I see it isn't so! (Oh no. [music lyric joke in there])

Essentially, I turned the map on and there are supposedly structures and I can't see them on the surface. Is there a cave and I just can't find the entrace? Can someone send me a waypoint to where an entrance maybe? Or it just some weirdness with the map?

The structures you see are probably the underground giant fynock cave. You'll need to look around the area a bit more to find the cave entrance, but the area you describe, north-easterly of Daeric, sounds like the right location.

Sorry, misread the north-easterly thing. That was from your other post concerning paralopes. Yeah, there seem to be tons of paralopes in the SE corner of Talus.

Anyway, the entrance to the fynock cave is in the side of a hill. If I remember correctly, and assuming this is what you found, the building blobs you see on the map are on the side of a slope anyway. Somewhere on the slope is a hill, which contains the cave entrance. I made the mistake of waypointing this while inside the cave, at which point I learned that setting waypoints inside caves and structures will often set a waypoint at 0, 0. I was wandering around the area NE of Daeric this morning, trying to find it again.

By the way, Cephalo, I've been milking these paralope lairs I've found near or at the coastline. I can get at least 15 creatures out of it. Sometimes more. It's really great. Now I'm up by the Imperial Base and only found a few around here, so I'm turning more west and south to approach Dearic from the northeast.

Which brings me to a question, does anyone here know where Talusian paralopes can be found in abundance?

I took a easterly route out of Dearic. I took this out about 1500m where they began showing up in bits and bobs. I walked out a total of 3000 and then turned southwards, through the swampy area where I found more. I headed towards the southern coast and when I got there, I took a westerly direction. Thoughtout, I found pockets of paralopes hera and there.

I am now rather north and west of Dearic and am in another "patch" of paralopes. They're around. The good patches (9 hides drop for me, a Twi'lek) are atleast 3000m from the city. Some are lairs. Some are spawning areas.

the structures you were seeing were most likely underground, and there was a cave near where you were with an entrance to those structures. i first found something like this in the Agrilat (sp?) Swamps on corellia.

once i get home i'll check this out and give you the entrance.

I'm up by the imperial base, I found a few lairs that spawned more like 5 or 6, rather than the 1 or 2 we were finding by Dearic.
