Hello everyone....about to go Ranger and wanted to get some ideas about what combat skills everyone has. I was thinking Rifleman but when it gets up close and personnal what do I do? The again Pistoleer isnt that strong to hunt the higher con creatures out there. I was also thinking of keeping LLC IV and possibly Carbines and Pistol IV (again on the BH line). Give me some idea's/ WOuld love to hear what everyone is doing.

I agree. I too enjoy MSwordsman with ranger. Even though rifleman is the traditional combat profession, I just like messing things up with my sword. Mask Scent: crawl and sneek up on my prey: Cut its throat with HeadHit3.

Read the different posts, most of us on here show our professiosn in our tags.

To answer now...=) Most rangers are indeed rifleman. Otherwise CH, pistols, and TKs seem the most prominent.

I've found Master Swordsman to be a VERY nice combo to go along with Ranger. 1v1 on a creature, HeadHit3 devastates their mind. SpinAttack2 works very nicely for taking out many creatures at once (the only problem I run into is that some very large creatures do not all get close enough to hit all of them).

Hello Fellow Rangers!

I use TK for my combat profession. While I fight creatures I have my droid harvest for me. Having TK also helps get rid of bleed, poison and disease from those nasty fights

Hi all

I`m a Ranger/Pistoleer/Ch.That combo seems to work nicley for me.Doing the third branch of pistoleer,to def stack.(Going for MR/MCH/pistoleer 0-0-3-0)
