I really want to create a website to post my screenshots of my travels and experiences. Fred, I know you have a really cool one and I was wondering if you or anyone else can direct me on how to make a *FREE* one and get started.

(As u probably know),u can use imagedump for posting ur pictures,if thats all u wanna do.

I'm something of a website geek (I program for a living) and I know a few secrets in Micro$pend XPProfessional to set one up (I have Frontpage). Unless you know about the inner workings of how to get XP Professional to run like a limited server (what I did) I would not recommend the "fiddling" I did to get that to work. That, and I have a friend helping me with a naming server, the one advantage I have over most (although you can buy those commercialy). I use that in case the address switches as my ISP does not guarentee a static IP, although mine has not changed in over a year.
You must also worry about hackers. This is why theurl has a :8080 on it, as the web port has been changed to use port 8080 instead of the standard port 80.

well, cant I create a free website from angelfire or something? im not sure how to get started. Im not a comp wiz and I dont have any programs to do this stuff, and I dont want to put stuff on image dump unless I cna have my own section. I dont want me pics in a big melting pot with everyone elses.
