Seems we are now demoted or relegated to becoming "snitches". That's what that long nosed thing was that dimed out Han. He wasn't a Ranger, he was a snitch. Big difference thank you very much.

Yeah, we get a limited PvP role, big freaking whoopee. People traps. Now listen for the BHs to start their whining for them also. You know it's coming. Although they sound cool, it remains to be seen how well they work (think of our current useless traps).

No camps. No biggie. No rescue, no problem.

No tracking. Double rats. I was keeping tracking to help in some stuff you need to do for Jedi. Forget that. Also, it is rather nice to be with some Jedi buddies and be able to tell them who the "dots" on their radar are. I hope they rethink this. Tracking is useful and a monkey maker for noob Rangers.

The entire urban thing has me puzzled. How many Rangers spend time in an urban setting? I haven't seen my house in a week, never mind hittinga city unless I am getting a mission. Granted, my lines about walking bushes coming at you down the street have been heeded - yay me. But Rangers don't blend into crowds, they avoid them.

The reduction in skill points is nice. My alt, if and when, will be happy. My main is still plugging along, 1.5 mil in reflexes (need 2.3) and freaking maxed out again (for the 3d time) in senses (yes, I dropped luck 3 and 4 and regained them to be able to convert XP).

I see a us becoming the FOTM again. At least for a while.

Not a naysayer, just being realistic. Sometimes the bright shinies don't mesmerize everyone.

I see Master Ranger becoming a thing of the past.You will have a lot of Smugglers taking Ranger lines to get theft abilities.BH’s and Comando’s will want some ranger lines to get anti-personnel traps and for camouflage. These are not bad things per se but I think there will be very few pure Rangers left when all is said and done.

I feel bad for those Rangers who like the creature centric role.I’m hoping they will take the creature centric aspects of Ranger that worked and move them over to CH.This will allow those who enjoyed that to still be wilderness explorers.

I feel you, JB. I'm looking at the changes, and I'm trying to keep an open mind. Like you said, we'll become FOTM just like SL when the changes go live, but we'll have to wait for testing to see what's really up. And hopefully, the devs will listen to us about the needed changes, as it's obvious they didn't read any of our revamp changes.

Like I said, we'll just have to wait.
