I hope they give us a revamp with these changes .

The ranger tree will be usless for the Creature handler now. I cant camo in the wildto chase the tames like I can now after this if I understand right when I move I will be revealed!

I want a respec! Please .. I will take the scout proffesion and mabe go something else. I dont know . But I am glad for those who like this revamp. But myself I am not as happy for the uses I use ranger for.

I harvest and pet tame and spend my time in the wild.

Mabe I need corrected. I am not being mean or nasty ) .. I just need to understand please.

If I read it right, maskscent will all shuffle down to scout and you'll have the ability to track creatures in a mobile manner using that. I know there are folks who swear by maskscent and those who swear by camo - but if you can indeed maskscent with full current ranger power by having the appropriate scout skills, I don't think it will be as bad as you imagine.

And for the record, please - no respec nonsense with this! Given the last fubar with that system, I don't want 7 gajillion morons respecing into ranger after they whine it's not fair we get one and they don't. I don't think this change is anywhere near the maginitude of the CU so I doubt we will get one in any case.

ah geez, plz dont start crying for yet more respec's.

For the 1st 1.5 years there were no respec's and if things were changed ppl had to deal with em and regrind. Crying for yet MORE respec's is just childish and not needed.

Ok sorry .. No respec.

Not crying heh Just worried my temp will be shot . Well actually if scout is all I need then ranger for what I personally used it for is not really needed. I guess I can drop that and work up something else.

I was not around for the other respec so I did not know the mess it made. /bow

I am just trying to see if Ranger is what I still need for how I play. I hate PVP .. I love PVE.

Anyway .. I guess it will be wait and see.

I think it can be. Rifleman is not anymore or less pvp than pve focused really, it's about how you envision your character. You have scout. By having scout you retain all your current Rangery goodness. Would trapping and attacking NPC's add onto that? That's still PvE. You don't HAVE to PvP with it anymore than you HAVE to PvP with Rifles.

See what comes with Ranger and see how it slots into your game. Maybe they are wasted points that you could slide into medic or squad leader or dancer or whatever! I think that given most of Rangers skills now will be available in the scout realm, this will be a pretty good thing as it will allow you to ADD to your template rather than force you away from being able to do something

Not a bad thought Beladan .. thank you for the insight of this sort.

I will have to wait and see.. But feed healing my pets will be near impossible and foraging for bait to fish ? ..

Area track for the rare pets.. All these things mean a lot to me. But I am a solo player and prolly stand alone on this subject. I dont want to be forced to hunt in groups to keep from getting ganked. Or worry that when I find a rare pet that some muppet will kill me while I am craweling up on a pet.

I stated in another post that so many are going PVP even my guild on Bloodfin. This bothers me as it gives guys like me no choice. Of course some of the concealments can hide me sometimes IF I dont move hehe . Whats that ? why cant they make it so I can hide and run if I want to ? .

To many these ponders wont mean much as some of you have other ideas of play. And thats cool. I understand. I just want to say mine. for what it is worth. I bet there are a few of others just like me. Not many but a few.
