Just went through a couple of Fambaa and Bol lairs on Naboo. The changes I found were this.
Base extraction = 100 + random bonus = new total
So far everyone animal has given me at least 100 milk + random total(which also can be zero). So it is a noticeable change to anyone who has harvested a lot of milk.

Docs are all happy that they can use their phat 30k resource deed on uber avian...
but TBH, I think a 30k stack of milk for a chef is about the best use of these deeds I can think of.
Meh, at least milking is a little less painful now... if only they'd fix the warping.
Thanks for the info railean, this is good to know.

Swirl Prongs (diff lvl 19) on Endor were also giving 100 + random as did a Piket on dant. I was ungrouped. Biggest random was 50. It seems that the diff lvl is not in the calculation nowadays.

no way! i've milked 21k before. It took a while but I got it. I'd rather get 30k eggs or 30k fish for my BE.

Milking piket longhorns on dant and got 200+ from many of them! The largest was 223! This makes milking a little more worthwhile. . . you actually feel like you're getting somewhere with it. Thanks Devs!

I've never been one for milking, but now I've got a chef buddy asking for it. Obviously there is an increase in the amount of milk everyone harvests, but is there any bonus for being a master ranger? Basically, am I, as a master ranger, going to harvest more milk on average than a novice scout?

When I milk Ikopi's on Naboo I only get about 20-40, for kaduus it is around 50-80. So the CL of the creature does have something to say.

Yeah, I've assumed the amount of milk harvested on average increases with increasing CL. But because the amount you harvest each time from a given creature seems to be random over a certain range, I have a hard time believing that creature harvesting skills have any affect on the amount of milk harvested. Or if it does, it's only on average. Anybody have any anecdotal evidence or data to support this?

when ive hunted with a friend who has hunting 3/4 i generally get a lot more milk than him - i tend to do the milking simply because he will get more that way...

Gurrecks and Faambas are droping about the same amount as they used to lol. The range seems to be 75 - 135 ish units. Every thing else is WAY better than it used to be. Ikopis, Swirl Prongs that kind of thing.

Bole bol females on Endor often give up over 200 in milk, it is kinda annoying that it breaks it into 100s and the rest in the inventory.

Last night I was milkingtwo herds of Faambas. The lowest I ever got was 185. The highest was around 250. These two herds were just out of sight of one another so as soon as I finished one I could milk the other and back and forth. In about a half hour I had milked 4.5K of milk. Unfortunately it was late so I was unable to continue this any longer.
