Ya this will be a good thing... but I think that some of the warping is just a borked animation that comes when you fail your "milking" roll. I.E. you fail the roll and instead of it running off a bit it warps or slides away. This would be some thing else than you not keeping up with it when it warps slides away. Guess we'll find out eh?

Freaking Rancors like to warp 300 meters when fleeing. Kimos too. Warp factor 2 Mr. Sulu....

Still havent fixed warping, I had 3 rancors warp just before i killed them 2 nights ago, how frustrating

Umm..the warping fix is in today's patch (the fix wasn't in 2 days ago, unless you were on TC).

ahhhhhh nice, something to look forward to :-) don't ya love all the stuff they are fixing lately, what took so long? The game is definately getting better and better

Better and better, at this rate some of the bugs should be fixed in 2006.

if your melee and just killing not milking the critters, simply have macro with ...
/ui action clearCombatQueue;
/taunt;
/taunt;
and hit this as soon as they are low on health and about to leg it. it fixes them to the spot once the taunt sticks and you free to whack them to death with whatever weapon you choose

Juvi Krayts still warp to me. And slide away after they die...
Might be a server load thing. Its not proper Lag, my ping was in the 70s the whole time.

I had pretty crummy lag on most servers today. As a result I'd kill stuff and it'd slide anything up to 40m away from me, an almost any direction.

for all those who worry about creatures warping-- just a note: they come back most times. I tested this on Dath when I was hunting Brackasets. What happens is that it'll run, you keep attacking it's lair mates and then you turn around and there's the almost-dead critter standing behind you going "aint'cha gonna put me outta my misery?"
