Thanks!

Well posting that here will get u flammed for sure but i know i did it by getting wounds and letting the camp heal them. It seemed to give me more exp in less time. Also i had my droid out and crafted more camps while in my camp.

Nah, we hate when people ask for macros .

The fastest way to level survival is to craft camps while sitting in a camp (occassionally placing a new camp).

And as a sidenote... a ranger should know where to place his camp...

In this case I imagine you want visitors (the more visitors, the more xp, less time needed for max xp per camp).

So put it outside the borders of the big cities... Most people are kind (or curious?) enough to pass through

I grinded it using a macro(don't flame) and in the macro i just sent out shout outs for people to come visit me at so and so waypoints. When they got there i just saying stuff rangers can do and the like. You know little fac perks for imp aliens and what we can track.....those type of things. One guy thought i wasnt afk and tried talking to me. It was quite funny.

I saw an afk macroer camping one day, calling out for visitors. Very annoying. So I dragged an aggro into his camp - say bye bye to that camp's xp as he had to fight (afk) and as it was Lok, it took a while for him to slay said aggro, thereby causing the camp to go cold. Cold camp = no xp.

I felt so bad, when he saw me later and asked for training, I replied he could go find the macro AFK trainer, have a nice day. He figured it out.

Now that AFK people can't attack, it will be even more fun to watch the macroers get eaten.

Feel free to macro at your own risk.

Oh ya and there is always the craft macro, but you can find that one your self.

Fish man Fish! Saidly I did not know that you could flood a camp and fish in it untill I no longer needed the xp

But the xp per hour on proper fishing is much better than siting in a camp. If you do both... wow.

This also gets easier as you get to the larger camps - the HTFB apparently shows up from a good ways off, and another player thought it was one of the new faction bases and was disappointed to learn it was only temporary.

Getting a big hunt group together helps a lot too. When killing Krayts was actually hard I had a group of over 20 people with me. Maxed out a Field Base's xp in about 2 minutes. It was a very quuick trip up to Frontiering IV.

I'll keep this in mind if you're ever AFK macroing. What's good for the goose, certainly should be good for the gander.

Ultimately, the best way to do it is to try and group with people who are actually going out hunting/healing TOGETHER. In a perfect world, that is the way it's supposed to be done. Of course groups like that are hard to find these days, but there are easier ways of doing it. I made it through the camping tree a few different ways. Of course just out hunting, when I'd get hammered by some MOB's and needed some time to heal I'd pop a camp and recover. Whenever I was in the middle of hunting and had to; bring the kid to school, wash dishes, wash clothes or vacuum, pop a camp, I'd pull out my pet and arm my T21 for the 5-20 minutes it took to get my stuff done. Once I got to the field bases, I have to admit I ground them out by popping a camp, pulling out a pet and doing pet trick 1 about 7 times...then letting my mind/action heal. I suppose a person could also pull and put away pets in the time their HAM is healing up, but of course that could be considered "cheating" by some.

6. You may not intentionally circumvent the player-versus-player combat features and cause another player to die, such as by "training" them.

Training is defined as pulling/leading a hostile NPC or creature along behind you and attempting to get it to attack another player who does not desire that engagement.

The intentional training of NPCs or Creatures will result in immediate disciplinary action when witnessed by a CSR, or if sufficient evidence is available. We are aware that accidents often happen causing unintentional trains, and will scrutinize each report of this activity closely.

8. "Roleplaying" does not grant license to violate these rules.
