I was hunting rancors the other day. Was in a group (of course....gotta love the harvest bonus although I didnt know I had abonus at that time cos I was playing galaxies again after ever and ever) and was taking rancor missions (yeah yeah I know....I should have gone to rancor valley but I needed the money).I noticed that manually harvesting the rancors gave me WAY more meat than using my 105 (or thereabouts) rated droid (mind I only have exploration 4 and hunting 4 in scout). It was my understanding until that pont, that a 105 rated droid would usually harvest more than you manually harvesting (and in case of a hunt 4 scout a heck of a lot more). But this was not so. For example if I manually harvested I would get 325-357 units of meat whereas with the droid I could barely pull say 280. Is this because of the group harvest bonuses? As far as I know there were no rangers in the group.

You get a 20% bonus for being grouped with any old schmo, 30% with a ranger, and 40% with a master ranger.
The harv droid bonus does not stack with the grouping bonus.
This should explain your experience.

Correct..there is no word back from the devs yet as to whether or not this is intended. Cue the JB.
