Thread: RATGWNIWNU vs. Team Hawtpants

Why am I so late in coming to this thread? And I missed a chance to point out the horrible error of Zina's ways, too.
I'm still of the opinion that the loyal soldiers of RATGWNIWNU and the dastardly villians of Team Hawtpants should meet up on a blue frog test server and have a good old fashioned rumble. I know, they're only for testing. But please believe me when I say that my interest in hearing the agonized death-screams of team hawtpants is purely scientific in nature.
Oh yeah, I'm a Ranger.

What do you guys think... should we band together and challenge this "team hawtpants''?
Although it may make me vomit, a field strewn with bodies of hawpant wearing sinners would be quite a site!

I am, in general, opposed to the use of TC-x servers with their CBT's for non-testing purposes. However, in these dire times, it would be ruddy good fun to stage a properly governed PvP contest between RATGWNIWNU & Team Hodgepodge.
How about this:
Set up a Capture The Flag player event kit.
Tournament to be played as a best of three matches.
Teams are limited to a maximum size. Players CAN be substituted, but no team can have more than the maximum number of players on the field at any one time.
Team members must display a Master tag.
Team Hawtpants must display either M.Dance, M.Musician or M.ID.
RATGWNIWNU must display a M.Ranger tag.
Combat professions are down to personal choice and remaining SP
No armour, each team will wear only garments related to the profession, ie, ha,ho,h*wtpants, or other Ent style garments. Cammopants and any other Ranger style garments.
Weapons to be limited to CDEF/low end 'stuff'.
NO pets.
Anything else?

Don't forget Master Tailor. Theyare just as guilty as the Ents!
Just as guilty?!?! It's the tailors that are really getting me riled up!
Almagill, valid point about the purpose of TC, but I do agree that these are indeed dire times.
I like your thoughts on challenge options Almagill, we'll wait to see how the rest of the community feels.
The garmenet Called H**pants in this game, are not H**pants. They would more properly be called Bikini Bottoms. The garment in this game called Short Shorts are Hot Pants, in fact they are known to be synonyms. This is an unforgivable oversight on SOE's part. I think that heads should roll.
I will not utter the name of this garment - unless it is the name of this garment.
Woop their silly little butts I say.

They might like that
Nemo0 wrote:Why not just make it a guild war on the test server? Then you don't have to limit the size of the group so much.
Could do.
I just figured that using the PEP equipment might JUST slip thru as 'testing', it also means the event is specific. It takes place at x,y location at t time, lasts till there's a winner and that's it. Saves people running about with enemy status later if somebody 'forgets' to cancel the war
Also, reason for saying only low/midrange weapons was, if folks have buffs off the frogs, no armour, it's going to be a short contest if all that happens is we spam HS3 or dizzy/KD's. Object of the CTF games is to CTF, not necessarily to kill the opposition (though that's a perfectly sensible tactic too. Wipe the board, capture the flag while the other team travel back from the cloner...)
Oh, and finally, reason for suggesting Frog Standard weaps was to keep the 'uber' weapons and DoT stuff out of it.
