Thread: CU: Scout/Ranger + Rifleman combo (not sure where this belongs, read on)

One issue I have with the new CU is that everyone in the group gets icons on it, so you can see what is happening/has happened to them, but NOT so for the target.
I.E. if I as rifleman have targetted a creature, shooting at it, I don't see it's states (dizzy, bleeding, KD, blinded) and so on. This is a real disadvantage. As I looked thru some notes, I noticed a mention somewhere this is intentional.
The animations that are now inplace instead are nice, BUT only for melee ranged characters. Not for medium (carbine/rifleman, 15m and more). Dunno bout the rest of you, but my computer doesn't show the white circling lines on a creature when it is dizzy and I'm at 60m+ distance.

As a side note about rifleman, I was just browseing through the skills and the rifleman skill cover up says it will take the player off the radar? whats up with that? i though that was impossible.

Telling from the description of Cover Up, one will also "cloak" in a sense.
Cover Up
This ability allows you to take cover using obstructions in the immediate area. While under cover, you will be very difficult to see and will not appear on the radar. You must be prone and remain prone to stay under cover and almost all normal actions will break the cover.

Well it looks like Rifleman arent the only ones to get some stealth action.....
"Force Cloak allows a Jedi to become "invisible". The exact details and restrictions of this ability are unknown at this time. Gained at Force Subjugate IV."
Even though we don't know how its going to work, they are still getting some form of invisiblity too. Where the heck is our stealth?

Yes, they can sadly disapear from the radar. and yes we have brought that up for ranger befor, that and the idea of becoming invisable. Becoming invisable would be very hard, if not impossible to put in. (don't ask me why)but apparantly its easy enough to mask the radar.
