Ill be honest Hunting on Kett. has been awful i havn't had 1 hunting contract ever since the CURB went live because alot of the major crafters that i used to work for left. That and it seems like the only good stuff that has shifted is a half @$$ wild meat on dantooine. is anyone else getting stuff like this?

Galik A. (main)- Master CH (Ret.) and Master Ranger, Master Bounty Hunter
Blowfin A. (craftbot with a soul)- Master BE and working on (Undecided)

Prices are down but volumes are up. I just finished a 1.6 million credit hunt for a long time customer of mine and while I don't think we will see prices of 150 cpu or more as often as before, because the amount we can harvest now is so large, and because most customer will generally take as much of a resource as you can provide, it seems that on balance revenues will be different but stable.

For specifics, visit the Armorsmith and Bio-engineer forums and look at the new lists of specific named resources that Ranger are still best positioned to provide. Talus Scaley, Rori Avian, Dantooine Wooley, and Naboo Brisley (to name a few) will continue to provide high value hunts anytime you feel like generating cash.

Also, the market for recycled hide is growing as Architects are learing that we can quickly provided it in 100K stacks for their factories(if you can get a creature recycler crafted) and so far I've never been offered less that 10cpu. OK, that's low, but it's only a 100k stack of recycled junk turned into a million credits. On Kauri milk has generally been going for 20 cpu. Not the most exciting thing to collect, but if you just need a quick couple of hundred thousand credits for new rifle and crate of stim's, it only takes an hour or so.

Hope this helps.

Good hunting and clear skies.

We have one enterprising Chef/BE paying 60cpu for milk, and 30-40cpu for good meat, I have been finding that there is more than I can harvest on Shadowfire.

I am new to Master Ranger but have been creature hunting for a long time, i am liking the bonus.

Good luck out there Rangers. Vessp

This is the same on Chimaera. The Lokian leathery hide is pretty decent atm and I have sold batches at quite low prices in the range 8.2 cpu to 20cpu, with the bulk going at 17.5cpu, overall I have made a nice amount of money for me and the other guild members who have been gathering this hide. Before theCU decent Lok Leathery went for 25cpu to 50cpu but it took alot longer to get the same volumes as we get now.

So overall I am better off I think, however I am sure the buyers will wise up to the fact that it is much easier to get huge volumes and therefore the prices will drop further, going forward.

Before this hide spawned I was selling crap resources for 1cpu on my vendor to grinders, unless something else decent comes along then I will be doing that again soon.

Prices are falling rapidly in the last few days as more and more crafters are realizing a group of Jedi or high level combat folk with a few scouts can harvest more than Rangers because of the speed of their killing.

In other words, if you dont group with combat ppl you cannot compete with their harvesting.

So much for the "Rangers are fully capable of operating alone, but as a member of a large adventuring group, the Ranger proves most benefcial." page 249 SWG Guide hehehehehehe

Well, I think we can still harvest alone its just that with the changes as they are now we are quickly falling away from the Master Harvester ideal that seemed to surround us for so long. We are just getting to the point of uselessness. I fear that the revamp will change our profession entirely.

I have had to turn down orders, as I have been too busy questing on Kash. I have still managed to hunt and sell over 200k in hides recently though.
