Is there a cloning or insurance terminal on Kaskyyyk? I can't find one in the starport or the tree nearby. And if there is not one, where do you wind up if you die?

There's a Mon Cal up in the tree, by the Doctors, that gives you insurance...I am not sure about the cloner, but it might also be an NPC.

I know ofthree insurance places, but I've not been able to find any cloning places:

1) in the dead forest if you go to the wookie spirit graveyard and talk to the wookie spirit dude he will 'bless' your wordly possessions so that they suffer less if you were to get tripple incapped by any of the mobs that say level 30 but hit at level 100.

2) there is a doctor in the rodian hunting grounds who will do the same. I'm not sure the doctor is a rodian or not. If he is, you might want to check after you clone to make sure you have all your stuff .

3) in the main area, one of the npcs on the second level (opposite dr. kinesworthy I think) will let you insure.

No, but seriously, I haven't figured out how to clone in either of these areas - just insure. In the dead forest, you take wounds and might get cyber parts if you die, but I think that if you die in the rodian hunting grounds, you just take an insurance hit (ie., stuff decays), but no wounds.

You don't need to clone in the hracca glade or whatever that sub-trial of the rodian hunting grounds is (the one you have to shuttle to). If you die in either of these areas, you appear at the start with no wounds and no decay.

The ryatt trail works like this too - I think you clone at the start of the trail with no wounds or no decay.

I've died in several places and never took insurance hits, or any health problems. Yet my wounds/bf always heals when I "clone". Looks like dying is now the quick way to be healed.

Yep - it was an integral part of my strategery in the rodian hunting trials. Reminds me of the good old days before decay (and speeders) when people would walk 3000 m away from the city and just take the 'express' back home.
