Thread: Anyone have this problem with traps & killing

Something bad is going on with my ranger.
I log in start hunting. I can kill say 2 things in a lair when suddenly when I get to about the 3rd animal
my shots stop showing damage, but I can still receive it, and in throwing a trap I suddenly get a message stating that this trap only affectes creatures and I can't use it.
Basically I end up running away, and the beastie I was shotting at warps to me, all the damage I was doing ticks at once and it dies at my feet. Then I can't harvest it.
I've relogged, and it stays in this mode. If I go overnight with a server reset, I seem to be fine for 2-3 animals then poof right back to this scenario.
I've a ticket open, but no response yet. I just want to drink beer and kill stuff, is it Karma?

I've got that as well before. They haven't even said it's a known bug yet, which means it will be a very long time before it gets fixed. I don't know if it has anything to do with the proximity of the creature to the lair, or if the lair is attacked before the new creatures are spawned and then take no damage. Don't know what to tell you, except it does happen to others.
