Thread: Greetings Rangers.. I am ready to HUNT!

I wanted to let you guys know, that reading thisforum has been very inspirational to me. I played SWG
for about a year a few months after it went gold. I ended up going commando, CH which are still very fun.
I left for several months and decided that I cannot make myself play some retarded Dungeons and Dragons
knock off, so here I am. Feeling like a noobler after the CU, but ready to hunt.
If I sit back and really think about what I wanted to do when I first read about the professions, I wanted to be
a Ranger/Hunter. Ranger has been broken since the game came out, so I never made it past the first
time I realized that camo / mask scent didn't work as advertised. I dont even think I made it past 1-1-1-1
Ranger before I quit. I was really bummed, because it fit my personality so well.
Now with respec in hand, I'm going Master Ranger. Now is my chance to try it for "free" and I'm taking it.
I've been on a lot of other threads trying to decide what I wanted to respec to, and I've heard a lot of
whining. It was refreshing to come here and hear your positive remarks, while Ranger is easily the most
ignored profession (that is useful) in the game.

At heart I'm a hunter. I've never been into the PVP aspect of this game. All I really ever enjoyed was
the adventure/exploring, and going on group hunts. Solo groups were one of the main reasons I quit
before.
I'm already stoked to go hunting. See you all in the back country (if you are on Bria).

No, I'm only on Bria... weird that someone else has a name like 'Oceas'. That's
the first I've ever seen a dupe online. Thanks for the offer though, bro.
