i use dmy macro, didn't work. i typed it out also, /harvest meat. i also did hide and bone those worked, tyeped and macroed. any one else having this problem?

Maybe the animal you were trying to harvest didn't have any meat? What was it?

Did you get the no harvestable resources message when you tried (meaning meat was in shift)?

I have been harvesting meat all day on Kashyyk with no problems at all.

hunting varactyls, so yeah they have meat. i have had to use the radial menu to get the meat. meat is ion shift, no message about non harvestable resource. as i siad before typing it out for bone and hide work just not meat. maybe i'm bugged.

Yeah I was having the same problem. I worked my butt off trying to kill some gaping spiders and when it came time to harvest.... I couldn't

However the funny thing is when I quit my group the system messages for receiving the xp and meat showed up and it seemed that I ended up getting what I was attempting to harvest. But I spent too long trying to harvest it so I logged and didn't experiment with it.

one other thing to check:

make sure you're not standing next to a house named 'meat house' or some player char named 'meat shield' (lots of both on bloodfin). If you are, then the server will interpret 'meat' to mean the house or the player, not the resource on the critter you just killed. You laugh, but it's happened to me more than once.

I took me over a year to figure that one out... I never could figure out why I couldn't open the container 'meat' when i was hunting near my house (I thought it was a bug since I was near a bunch of houses). As to why it's not working, what Iseult described may be the issue, but I have heard other people say they were having problems with their macros. /bug it in game.

My loot and harvest macro has been buggy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. If the macro fails I get no message at all. I have to keep a close eye to insure that I harvest all animals. If the macro fails then I have to use the radial to harvest. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries using the radial menu also.

Yeah its like a whole bunch of lag. You keep trying and trying and trying then all of a sudden it "sometimes" all comes to you (system messages are spammed with the scout xp) This sometimes happens and other times when it doesn't I dont end up getting any xp or anything.

I was out hunting for a couple hours on Sunday night and for about 1/2 an hour my /harvest meat macro worked fine, then all of a sudden it wouldnt work at all. I could still harvest using the radial, no problem. My macros for bone and hide never had a problem, worked fine the entire time. I was in quite a few different places on 2 planets, so I dont really think that each time I treid to use it I was near something/someone with meat in the name. Hopefully it work today

Did everyone try using/harvestcorpse? If it's in your macro there's no downside to using the whole command. That's just good programming ettiquette.

Thank you for the idea, but unfortunately it did not work for me. From the time I have logged in tonight any macro that I make or type out the command will not work for meat at all. All the others are still working just fine. Maybe someone is trying to tell me not to collect meat lol

/harvest meat, was not working for me, but only on Kash, it works fine on the other planets I have hunted on since the CU.
