Thread: Ranger Is The Only Profession Requiring 1-point More Per Skill In Respec!

So... not only is Ranger the only profession in the game requiring full mastery of another to get Novice, it's also the only one that's broken in Respec because it requires 1 elite point more per box.
Ouch, guys. Correspondant, bring this up?

Brought it up a good few times but never got anything back. A work around was put forward though.

Oh, I didn't realize it had been brought up. I hope they fix it; it would be simple enough, sheesh 
And before anybody yells "respec Ranger!" I was a master ranger way back ... I just miss the old days

am I a lesser ranger then cos I respecced to 2/2/2/2 ranger and worked my way upto to MRang ?

^ I certainly don't think so.
But some people scream bloody murder when somebody respecs to their profession - like they're less legitimate. I guess in some ways they are, lacking the experience that usually comes with mastery of a profession, but you can't complain because it's a legitimate gameplay tool.

The work around is using your stored xp to gainmore elite boxes. For example, on my alt couldnt get master ranger but was master rifles, master doc. I converted his class to master TK/master docand used the storedrifles xp to get a friend to train me up in elite boxes in rifleman. Once i did that, in the next respec i had around 400 elite points and could get up ranger. This of course only works if you have banked xp but xp isnt very hard to get if you are in group.
I think there was another work around too, but i never understood it but i believe sixsix used it.
