thanks for playing along Starson... i think Paks was trying to fish me out (she KNOWS i'll never go trando!!!)... i thought it would make my day, but now i just feel bad... well, if i didn't think you were playing along just a little...

i dunno though... i haven't been posting much lately, just because there is nothing i can say... every time i think of something it's either already been said, or just not worth saying... my biggest hayday here was back when we were flooded with constructive, hopeful posts... but now?... eh, it's not like it's our fault, either... i honestly cannot see where the devs are looking right now, but it strikes me with awe at what catches their attention most of the time...

i guess the optimist in me thinks it's good that they haven't thrown us a bone in a while... they haven't said "so, what do you guys want?" (i think we'd slaughter them if they did)... maybe it's a sign that they are actually planning something... the problem is, to those of who have been waiting for over 20 months for something, the timeslook incredibly bleak... i remember the day we got camo -i even grabbed novice artisan so i could collect my own dantooine flowers... that was the last time we were touched in a positive way (save possibly the +10 defenses at master)...

so i've kind of been taking a break from posting here... there's nothing constructive for me to add... i used to have preferences on which way they took ranger, but now i just want them to take it some place... any place...

apparently my opinions never mattered anyway... so now i make unconstructive, unhelpful, no content posts... if i post at all...

there's no profession i care more about than ranger... i hope you guys can forgive my absencefollowed withmy sporatic stupid posts...

awww, Paks... now i really feel bad... i just reread it, and it sounds like i'm saying "this forum is crap now!"...but i don't mean it like that...

you remember back when we were all hopped up on hope?... nearly every thread here was either a "help me, a newbie ranger" or a "here's an idea"... it was just different...

i just can't find anything to say anymore... i think the only reason i post anything at all is so you guys know i still exist (for what that's worth, heh)... i just feel bad that i have nothing to say, and thus my posts are kind of.. umm... empty...

I'm a Trandoshan Master Ranger and a Master Musician and a Master Liar

The recent camo change had me incredibly excited, as I've always wanted to be "the best"at something. With all the negativity about the making Rangers into crafters, I finally have my chance.

But there's a problem. Even with my +25 camo clothing, I cannot compete with Bothan Rangers and their "uber" camo kits. It's just not fair. I think they should institute a species /respec so that Bothans don't get all the benefit of this change.

Without the respec, my only option is to earn the FS crafting trees (with my remaining 4 skill points). But once again, being a Ranger excludes me from this content. Not only does my scouting xp not count toward FS survival, but I cannot purchase any FS crafting experience with it. I'd like to propose that scouting xp no longer translate tosenses, but rather crafting. So I can be uberer.

While we're at it, I'd like to open up traps and camps to be useable by everyone. I don't use them, but I think people might buy them and I could become super-rich and cool. I'd also like it if camps were experimentable, so I could use really good resources on them. It could be our little secret that quality doesn't matter, and we could charge way more for 98% camps. Think of the possibilities!

(the above post is constructed solely of lies - well, except for that part about me being a liar, that part is true... my first attempt at a horribly sarcastic post... i only hope i get one of those angry people posting first, so i can feel like i did my job)
