Thread: Foraging...
I haven't seen this discussed anywhere Wilderness XP for foraging. Just anidea I had the other day when I saw the HAM hit when I foraged, reminds me of sampling except no XP.
Alternate methods to building camps would be nice...
I like that idea. Considering foraging is part of the wilderness tree, it should have some benefit for using besides the random 3 stack of insect bait. I was also hoping there could be some User XP, if you sold camps to people and they used em, you'd get some XP. But now, of course, with the min. camping skill requirements, anyone who can use them, can make their own.
This is part of my top issues list.
Foraging...they make us stop and stand still (like sampling), wait (like sampling), take mind and action damage (like sampling), but give no xp for it. (unlike sampling), and no ability to determine what in an area is worth foraging in the first place (unlike sampling/surveying).
Along those same lines, I'm going to suggest that crafting camps and traps also generate frontiering xp instead of general crafting. camps are not so valuable that advancement in the frontiering line should be so crippled as to be such a huge timesink.
