I'm trying to make up my mind on my third Master. I currently have Master Scout, working on Master Carbinier and not sure if I want Ranger or CH. Can you all please give me your pros and cons of being a ranger?

Right now, CH has more to offer than Ranger. That, however, is subject to change. /grin

I have CH and Ranger now...CH is much better at this point. I can tame, I can use them for fighting (tanks)...the devs have really focused on CH's in the new patch on the test server.

Ranger....well....errrr....

-You can make a camp that cost you more bone, hide, and other resources that you can make as a Novice scout..but they do the exact same thing...allow you to sit in it.

-You get MaskScent..that works the same as a master scout level

-You get new traps that dont work compaired to the scout Traps

-You can not Conceal yourself from NPCs

-Cant Track

You can Crawl very very fast. So if you are into Crawling..I say go with Ranger. Our Ranger Correspondent did tell us that many great things are coming...but with them not on the test server, not mentioned by a dev anywhere, No Dev realy has ever mentioned anything about Ranger..I wouldnt expect to see any changes for a while.

My advice....go CH for now. It has more working features and is somewhat fun if you get a pet you like.
