I have seen stuff about lure traps. What about a lure ability? Something you can target a creature, activate it and have a chance of drawing the creature away from the pack without it aggroing or bring freinds. The higher up in level you go, the better chance you have of affecting higher level creatures.

This is a GREAT idea.
When people hunt deer, they use mating calls. When people hunt ducks, they use feeding calls. When Obi-Wan scared off the Tusken Raiders, he used a Krayt Dragon call.
This would be a great way for Rangers to help CHs lure their future baby pets out from a lair, or to draw off a single creature for an ambush by their group. GREAT idea.

This could also make soloing harder lairs easier for Rangers.. Ranger calls off them one by one.. so that they don't Bring a Friend..

I did some thinking and, from a poor laymans point, this doesnt seem like that hard of an idea to implement. Since they have /rescue. It just needs to be modified abit. Click ona non-agroedmob, instead of the party to be rescued. Activate the /lure skill. Since all monsters sorta 'wander' about. The successful use of the skill modifies the wander algorithm to have the monster 'wander' closer to the Ranger. The ranger slowly backs off and with multiple successful uses of the skill could draw a beast out of a pack.
