Yes, fix the broken traps first. Yes, add BF to field bases. Yes, I'd like to see a conceal. This is not about that...

To help with some of the ideas of crowd control how about a sleep trap. This would be very similar to stun and root traps, except this would be more for add management in groups. When successfully toss a sleep trap the mob would go prone and "sleep". When it wakes up it's no longer going aggro (unless it's a red mob and close enough to you). It's basically an aggro forget.

This would give Rangers a lotof value in a group for PvE in that instead of using warning shot which is only temporary this would be a more "permanent" in handling the adds.

Thoughts?

I love it . It could be a sleeping gas bomb that puts everything to sleep . MOBs could only be affected by it once , to avoid exploitation . Any damage would wake the MOB up and make him aggro . If undisturbed it would wake up neutral . Nice big area effect bomb that is tossable at 50m .

Great idea that's why we'll never see it .

Somehow a dude out in the woods with a sword is a better crowd controller and animal behaviour expert than we are . Makes tons and tons of sense ....

Yah, particularly as this does't "seem" to be hard to implement as it would already use the same "grenade" type traps. Only thing is how hard it would be to make the creature stop aggro'ing you. Although, it would just be like a stun for a several secs, then clear the aggro list.
