went on a krayt dragon hunt tonight, only to find out that my trap master skills are useless. every trap I threw failed.

Ranger traps are bugged right now. It was on a list of fixes submitted by Mineras.

The Scout traps work but the Ranger traps only seem to work on some creatures (and I mean that I don't get any message from some creatures but do on creatures next to them?).
