Hehe, well if the Jedi is Imperial then good onya, but the Antarian Rangers are kind of the signature group for SWG Rangers, if nothing else is, and it's an all-Rebel group designed to help Jedi.
I believe the above scenario is something that should not be seen as "legitimate." I'm betting it's the next thing to get "fixed."

How can it not be legitimate?

Um, BH'ing isn't a game of hide and go seek. You gotta fight.
Why else is there a combat special in every branch of BH? Combat modifiers? You should fight to win.
But Bio, part of fighting and combat is tactics. If the BH is smart enough to hide and wait and spring it on the jedi when they aren't suspecting it... well, good on 'em. If the Jedi isn't paying attention and agrees to go off hunting krayts with someone they just met, well... maybe they're not so smart after all, and all this is, is Darwinism at it's best. ![]()
I don't see anything wrong with this in terms of exploits or anything like that. They suckered the Jedi, he or she will hopefully think twice next time. That's not cheating, that's tactics. Playing dirty is still playing the game... nobody say BH's had to be "honorable" for every kill, they are some of the most wretched scum out there in some cases.
Well, Moof'd just keep my suit of Rebel Battle Armor to himself if I didn't defend the point I did.

excuse me....but the profession of Bounty hunter is one of adapting and always being innovative. Just because they have combat bonuses doesnt mean that they should run into a fight like a arrogant madman.... personally I give that BH props for getting his mark without ever firing a shot.....
well, when you say it like that it just sounds wrong.........
hmmmm

The Empire wanted Jedi removed from the universe at all cost. I'm not going to debate the issue of how many Jedi survived, we've been over that a million times but the argument that both sides could agree on was that surviving Jedi would be hiding.
Bounty Hunters had contacts and partners in crime and half the galaxy was willing to give them up for free.
Jedi in SWG need to learn that this isn't Clone Wars. Jedi are hunted and everybody is out to get them. They can use Episode 3; Order #66 as a point of reference if they've never seen the original trilogy.
